When it comes to home decor, one of the easiest ways to transform a space is through artwork. I love that it can easily be changed to reflect the season, a change in your mood or an overall shift in your decor style. It really can add so much to a room! With that being said, finding the perfect artwork for our apartment has been no easy feat. While my husband and I have similar tastes in certain things, we also have very different styles with his leaning more masculine and mine leaning ultra feminine. There was also the issue of cost, lack of options that fit both of our styles and the ignorance of creating something like a gallery wall. After being in our apartment for a few years now, I’m so happy to say that it’s finally come together with the help of Desenio! Read on to see how I created my feminine, vintage-inspired pink gallery wall!

How to Update Your Space with a Pink Gallery Wall
Shop My Wall
Top: Pink Tram (30 x 40 cm) | Dreamy Peony (21 x 30 cm) | Pink Pay Phone (30 x 40 cm)
Bottom: Pink Roses (21 x 30 cm) | Brigitte Bardot (21 x 30 cm) | Pink Door (30 x 40 cm) | Going Places (30 x 40 cm)
Previously, I did not have much experience in the area and I had no idea where to start! Choosing artwork is very personal and as a result, can be a bit intimidating at first. But once I started looking through the website, I was filled with a rush of excitement for all the possibilities! Looking through their collection of gallery wall kits and magazine not only gave me inspiration but made me feel much more comfortable with the project. After a few days of looking, I decided on two different hand-picked collections. My husband helped me narrow it down even further and we ended up choosing a collection of images that suited both of us!
We both love mid-century modern design and vintage style images so we used that as our inspiration. I also knew that I wanted to add some color so we used pink as a base and narrowed it down even more by choosing images based on our keywords and the feeling we wanted to convey in our space. We ultimately decided on gold frames for contrast and to add more to the “vintage” vibe. Once I started thinking about the gallery wall in terms of a Pinterest board, it was much easier to make a decision.
Overall, I’m very happy with our pink gallery wall and think that the images reflect our style and personalities perfectly. The entire process was super easy and I love that they had an endless amount of imagery and inspiration available to fit varying design styles. Shipping was super fast and everything was packaged well and very easy to put together. I will definitely be using Desenio again!
