It’s Wednesday! Yay!
We have a couple days left of vacation and are just soaking up every minute of it. It’s very rare that we get an actual vacation…in fact, I can’t remember the last time but I definitely think that needs to change ๐ Follow along on stories to see what we’re up to!
Today’s blogger is Kim from Sensible Stylista, who like me, is also a musician/teacher. In today’s post, she shows us how to style this adorable floral romper. I feel like this would be the perfect outfit for a summer festival! Plus it’s on sale at one of my favorite online shops ๐

Hi guys! I’m SO excited to be guest posting for Elizabeth today. My name’s Kim, and I’m a lifestyle blogger who founded a site called Sensible Stylista. I blog about glam living on a budget…and some designer finds I’ve purchased for less. I’m a Juilliard-trained pianist who has a passion for all things girly and beautiful. I don’t blog full time – I’m a pianist + teacher by day – but I treat it like a full time gig. Anywho, I’ll be telling you guys all about the new floral romper I got from Chicwish.
I’m kind of obsessed with this mustard playsuit. Ok, so “kind of” may be an understatement but whatever. It’s currently on sale for $39 (originally $53), and it fits me really nicely – I just wish I filled the top out more. The material’s nice and lightweight though. I’m already dreaming of wearing this to the beach! Love, love, LOVE the sleeves, and the color’s so springy – wearing it legit lifted my mood.
I accessorized with a few statement bracelets from Full Line Collection and carried my favorite faux suede mini-backpack – it’s the BEST when running errands since the weight’s equally distributed. Totes have always been my go-to, but they’ve been taking a toll on my body as of late. To finish off my look, I threw on nude lace-ups because I wanted to elongate my legs. I got these on sale from Steve Madden years ago, but they’re still a wardrobe staple – yay for bomb bargain finds. When purchasing a discounted item, make sure you think about all the many different ways you can wear it. You never want to buy something just because it’s “cheap,” because it’ll collect dust in the back of your closet for the end of time, lol.
A closer look at my accessories! Unfortunately, this bag’s no longer available in this color, BUT you can still get it in metallic silver. It’s SUPER cute, but at $68, it’s not exactly the most affordable thing I’ve ever featured. SO, here are other fab options under $50 for your shopping ease:
