Wooo! It’s Friday!
I hope you had a wonderful week! It’s not very often that I’m able to attend events but yesterday, I drove down to LA for a blogger lunch at Laduree. My husband and I are a huge fan of macarons and make it a point to get them every time we’re down there. I’ve been dying to try their lunch menu and it definitely didn’t disappoint…and I’m pretty sure I had way too many sweets haha! Anyway, today I’m talking about how you can design your own shoes with this post!
HOW TO DESIGN YOUR OWN SHOES

I don’t know about you but being able to design my own pair of shoes is a dream come true! When you’re shoe shopping, it’s hard to find a pair that is absolutely perfect. Sometimes the heel is too high or maybe it would look better with a few alterations. Luckily, with this post, you can design your shoes exactly how you want them! They have so many different styles available including various heel, flat, sneaker and boot designs. You can choose everything from the shoe style and heel height to the material and color. You may remember the boots I designed from this post (I even took them with me to NYFW!). With warmer weather on the horizon, I decided to design a sandal that would pair well with everything.
I decided on this gorgeous tie up style and choose a block heel for my base. I was going back and forth between a bright pink and this blush nude for the color but ended up going with the blush nude since it’s a bit more versatile. The material is actually velvet, which I was initially unsure of for the season, but I think it works and adds a luxe element. I chose blush nude leather for the insole along with a splash of light pink and also added an inscription on the insole that reads “Pink is always a good idea” …(you know, just in case I forget haha!).
I love that Shoes of Prey allows you to personalize and design your own shoes for a one-of-a-kind style. Plus they offer extended shoe sizes including US 2 through 15 and in narrow, wide and extra wide in most styles. Check them out this post and get a free inscription (a $49 value) when you use ELIZABETHHUGEN.
