Well… I guess this is actually true for every holiday season hehe 😉 In my opinion, no two items are more glamorous than a luxurious faux fur coat and a shimmering sequin dress. When it comes to a glamorous holiday party outfit, sequins and faux fur are a no-brainer. Both elevate your look in an instant while making a statement in the best way. Sequins tend to mimic the twinkling lights of the holidays while faux fur adds an essence of coziness and luxury. And of course, both have an obvious Old Hollywood starlet look that I adore!

This silver sequin dress is actually from my affordable evening dresses haul! Would you believe me if I told you it was only $70?! That’s almost unheard of for a quality special occasion dress. Not only is it beautiful but it’s comfortable and super flattering! Plus it looks amazing with this faux fur coat!

The coat has so many beautiful neutral colors making it an item that pairs well with nearly everything from a casual look to a fancy holiday party outfit. And I have to say that I am VERY picky about my animal prints! I don’t have many in my wardrobe but this jacket definitely hits all the marks for me. The print is sophisticated and although the fur is faux, it’s incredibly soft and looks very high end.

To finish off this holiday party outfit, I included a beaded star bag that would be perfect for New Years Eve! The design is adorable and I love how the fringe detail gives off a “shooting star” effect. Typically with both sequins and faux fur, I would add a simpler handbag but I feel like this one works really well! The colors, beaded texture and unique shape add something even more special to the outfit.

And of course, I couldn’t go without a headband from one of my favorite brands, Alexandre de Paris! The snowflake pearl details are charming and adorable for the holiday – plus it matches perfect with my white Sarah Flint heels.
