Can you tell I’m in vacation mode? LOL! I’ve long forgotten what an actual vacation feels like so this will have to do for now 😉 This floral top and skirt set reminds me of a colorful and vibrant vacation – perhaps south of the border or in a lovely coastal town. The floral print and colors on this set are so bold and fun! I love the puff sleeve details and the shirring on the top. I also love the buttons down the skirt as I feel like it gives it a vintage look. To keep with the summer vacation theme, I paired this set with a cream woven vintage-inspired handbag, dainty jewelry and my favorite lace up espadrilles.
One thing that I love about matching sets is that they are essentially separates so each piece can be paired with other items in your closet. This would be great for travel too just based on that! I feel like the top would look amazing with a flowy white maxi skirt, a flouncy mini or even high waisted jeans (or shorts!). And the skirt would look adorable with a plain crop top, a wrap top with billowy sleeves or even a cute crochet top. The styling options are endless!

What a lovely skirt and top! I would never have guessed they are separates. Often, when I try to do this, the two fabrics are off by just enough they look like separates, or it’s an entirely different fabric. Why do manufacturers do that? I suppose they want us to buy a completely different separate that coordinates. You look so lovely in all of these photos! I do wish I knew your secret!
