Mixed Floral Print Outfit Idea

Good Morning all!

It’s a fabulous Friday over in my part of the world! I’m hoping to hang out by the pool, catch up on my magazines, play some guitar and maybe even make some homemade ice cream. 😀 I hope you all have some fun and relaxing plans for the upcoming weekend.

This skirt was reviewed thoroughly in this post a few weeks ago and I finally got the chance to style it. I’d say for the price of $18 (or $14 if you get an extra discount), it’s very worth it. Although my first shopping experience wasn’t the greatest with the exchange, I still love the skirt and feel that I could wear it with a lot of items that I already have.

For this Mixed Floral Print Outfit Idea, I decided to do a bit of print mixing (my fave!) with my favorite print…floral, of course! I mixed a small, dense floral up top with a larger, more sparse floral on the bottom. I also kept it in the same color family and ta da….you have a lovely, feminine outfit that is also interesting to look at. 🙂 I kept all accessories neutral with hints of gold, but played up the florals with a gold and enamel daisy necklace. Although, my shoes were although neutral, they add a bit of whimsy with the laser cut design. I added a pop of color with my gorgeous hot pink bag that literally goes with everything.

If you are new to the link up, we are glad to have you! And even if you’re not….glad to have you back. 🙂

Per usual, I have a fellow blogger to spotlight and this week’s blogger is….

Melody Jacobs

This little lady and I share the same birthday! (Yay Gemini!) And…decided to show off gorgeous embroidered dresses on that day. So neat! Anyway, I adore this sweet look and just love all of the energy in these photos. The dress itself is very pretty, but adding the blue sparkly heel adds an element of fun. 🙂

Now it’s your turn! Be sure to link-up for a chance to be featured next week. Check out some other blogs and have fun! 😀
