It’s no secret that I’m obsessed with Clarins’ skincare. In fact, the Double Serum has been a vital part of routine for the last six months and has completely changed my skin! Even with that, I still had one more skin concern – pores! We all know that a good skincare routine creates the perfect canvas for immaculate makeup and having a product that minimizes the look of pores makes skin look that much more flawless. Does such a product exist?
Luckily, Clarins’ has a short quiz that makes finding the perfect serum for your skin a breeze! Based on your skin concerns — dryness, dark spots, pores, wrinkles, etc. — there’s a serum that’s best for you. Upon finishing the quiz, I ended up with the Pore Control serum as my result. It made finding the serum that’s right for my skin concerns so quick and easy!
What is Pore Control Serum?
This is a serum that visibly reduces the look of pores, blurs imperfections and mattifies the skin. Dilated pores are visibly tightened and skin texture is refined and radiant with the help of firming Vine Flower.
How to Apply
Start the application process by pumping the serum onto your hand. Gently warm the serum between both hands and apply by pressing onto the skin. Repeat the gentle pressing motions to apply over the entire face. This serum can be used in the morning and/or evening.
How I Used It
I introduced the Pore Control serum into my skincare routine by using it each morning. After cleansing, I applied it to my face as directed and followed with my makeup routine. Immediately, I saw results! I was astonished to see such amazing results after only one use! My skin felt and looked so smooth, radiant and youthful. My once visible pores disappeared right before my eyes leaving behind a smooth, matte canvas for my makeup. It almost acted as primer in the way that it visibly smoothed out and mattified my skin! Not only did it make my makeup products glide on and look so much better, but it gave the skin underneath a healthy, youthful glow. This is definitely a product that I’ll be incorporating into my skincare routine moving forward.

Right now my skin has decided to have a life of its own, either dry today, oily tomorrow itchy. So I am just going to have to figure out a different routine. I do love serums though and always like buying new ones to try out.
