Fall is officially here and I couldn’t be more excited! Spring has always been my favorite season but autumn comes in a very close second. Style-wise, however, it’s probably my favorite (after all, layering is definitely a fashion love language of mine!). With that said, there’s more to loving fall than layers. The deep color palettes, dark florals, interesting textures and perfect pairs are just some of my favorite aspects of cold weather fashion. Purple Lace Fall Dress

This is the ultimate fall princess dress! The rich purple color is regal and romantic and I adore the soft velvety texture of the fabric. The fabric also has a stunning burnout floral pattern for an ultra feminine touch. And as if that wasn’t enough, this stunning fall dress includes cascading ruffles, flattering flutter sleeves and a dreamy lace-up corset-style bodice. This is definitely one of those dresses you can easily dress up or down but for this look, I styled it with a pair of white boots, a cream heart handbag and lots of pearls!

Matching Plaid Blazer & Skirt

Maybe it’s my love of Clueless and Gossip Girl but I always adore a good matching set! This plaid blazer and skirt combo definitely give me Rory Gilmore vibes and I’m living for it. With peachy pink details, girly buttons and pretty pleats, this set was made for autumnal weather. While you can style it may ways, I paired it with knee high lace socks and a red velvet loafer (also from Ivy City) – it’s a match made in heaven!

Jacquard Floral Fall Dress

This floral jacquard dress is one of my very favorites for fall! I’m definitely more of a light floral kind of gal but I can’t help but fall in love with these deep, dark florals. It screams dark feminine romantic style, which is so perfect for fall. The dress as a whole has a vintage look to it that I love with a cutesy Peter Pan collar, matching belt and dreamy floral that screams “grandma’s couch” in the best way hehe! For this look, I styled with a black velvet purse, suede heels and floral bow brooch but if you’re looking to add a bit of warmth, you’ll love this winter version!

Green Floral Fall Dress

It’s not very often that I wear green, which is a shame because I really do love the color. However, the color is exactly what drew me to this cress in the first place! It’s so different than what I normally choose but that’s why I love it. The green with the dark pink floral just gives off such a feminine look for fall. The puff sleeves and smocked bodice make this perfect for everyday! I styled it with a gold block heel, cream heart handbag and of course, pearl accessories to make the look even more elegant.

Vintage -Inspired Fall Outfit

This fall outfit definitely screams vintage Dior! The New Look is one of my very favorites from history and I feel that this jacket and skirt set perfectly emulates the style in a modern and updated way. Firstly, the deep eggplant purple color is just magical! I hardly ever wear darker jewel tones but maybe I should because I really adore this one! The peplum and twirly skirt also give off such a feminine vibe. To complete the look, I add touches of mauve with a simple pair of heels, bow headband and a darling embroidered handbag!
