Fall is one of my very favorite seasons to dress for! I just love all the cozy layers, fall hats and of course, a good pair of boots. What’s my fall outfit of choice, you ask? A feminine fall dress with brown boots – read on to see how I styled this look and my thoughts on these gorgeous custom boots!

Finding the perfect boots has always been a struggle for me. My legs are more on the athletic side and I’m under 5 ft tall making my quest to find boots that fit nearly impossible. I can’t tell you how many times that I’ve bought a pair of boots online only to have my heart broken when they are too small for my calves or way too tall on my petite frame. Enter Adelante – a custom shoe brand that is completely customizable in color, style and measurements.
I immediately fell in love with these gorgeous taupe/tan boots and knew that they would go perfectly with my wardrobe. When I ordered, I included my measurements and was so impressed that they fit perfectly upon arrival! Andd they are so so comfy! The shoes are custom made and they sent an email with info about my craftsmen, the person who was making my boots by hand. I really loved that personalized touch and loved getting to know the person behind the boots.
I knew that these would be perfect for fall and winter and would look amazing with jeans, skirts and dresses! I particularly love them with this gorgeous floral set (also styled here), fun bohemian style earrings and a camel colored handbag (my very first Coach bag!). This whole outfit gives me Ralph Lauren vibes and I’m loving every bit of it 😉

Lizzie, this dress is absolutely beautiful on you! I love these fall neutrals. And your boots are so great, too. Getting the right fit in tall boots is so important and I am so glad that there are brands now that offer the customization without killing you on the price. I was just checking out the Adelante site and they really are reasonably priced for custom footwear. All legs (and bodies) have their own unique shape and deserve perfect fit! Hopefully the days of “one size fits all” will be gone soon.

Finding the perfect footwear or accessorizes for an outfit has always been a challenge. I love how you perfectly pulled off everything in the outfit you put together. From the coloring, to the accessories, to the overall composition of the photos, it was perfectly crafted. I don’t particularly have a favorite style of boots, but some of my favorites are short booties.
