Feminine Cottagecore Outfit Idea for Spring
Spring time is honestly the best time of the year in my opinion. The flowers are blooming, the sun is shining and it’s time to bring out those beautiful spring dresses from the back of the closet 🙂 I’m currently in the process of switching my wardrobe over but until then, I’m enjoying my days out in this gorgeous lace dress (check out Elie Tahari’s latest collection – it’s just full of dreamy spring pieces!).
When it comes to cottagecore outfits, the sleeves tend to do the talking. Dresses are usually characterized by breezy, billowy sleeves or shorter puff sleeves as seen on this beauty! I’m also loving the square neckline – it’s so flattering and something that you don’t see very often. And of course, another aspect of the cottagecore outfit rage is the sheer femininity of the designs. This dress showcases the most gorgeous floral lace and the prettiest light blue color (which I have been LOVING lately – just look at my Instagram feed for proof lol!). This dress fits like a dream and quite honestly, gives me Bridgerton vibes. It’s classic elegance in modern times.
To complete the outfit, I paired it with a small structured handbag in the same gorgeous blue hue (see the pink version styled in this post) along with my favorite pair of nude sandals and a pretty boater hat with a light blue ribbon. I kept it simple and classic with my jewelry, donning a dainty pearl necklace, pearl bracelet and aquamarine princess ring. The result is a lovely, feminine outfit ready for a spring picnic 🙂
Are you loving the cottage outfit trend?
How would you style this dress?
Also, I would love to share that I recently applied for the Sephora Squad ambassadorship 🙂 As part of the application process, I need to submit testimonials (which heavily influence my chance of being chosen). I would be SO grateful if you could click the link below and write a short one for me (takes just a minute)! If you feel that I’ve helped, inspired, or encouraged you in any way over the years or have given you sound advice about beauty, hair or skincare, I would be SO appreciative if you could share that!! Would love any support <3 Thank you so much!
