There was a time where I avoided wearing black. I thought it was too harsh for my skin and I much preferred lighter colors and pastels. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve introduced more and more black into my wardrobe and now… I can’t get enough! This all black outfit is one of my favorites from my recent Chicwish clothing haul. Can you believe that I’m wearing a nearly all black outfit?? Of course I had to add in a dash of pink with my handbag but other than that… it’s all black with a touch of white. 😉
I was immediately drawn to this black faux fur cape. It has a bit of an Old Hollywood glamour vibe that I adore and it’s so comfortable (truly like wearing a cozy blanket). I love the soft faux fur collar and pom pom details – it really elevates the entire look. Plus the black is just so striking and would pair well with so many feminine winter outfits.
The plaid cardigan and skirt set is actually one of my favorite picks from my Chicwish winter clothing haul! It comes as a set so you can style them together or separately with other items in your closet. Both items are super comfy and chic. I also love the vintage collar and Gossip Girl inspired design.
Of course, I paired this girly winter outfit with my black knee high boots to give off a Blair Waldorf inspired look. These boots are honestly one of my favorite winter staples! They are knit so they’re very comfortable and they stretch to fit a variety of calf sizes (which is great for me because I have a hard time finding tall boots most times). I finished off the look with my absolute favorite pink pearl Kate Spade bag and a black vintage bow hat. This hat is actually one of my recent thrift store finds and I’m in love!! It’s honestly the most adorable thing.
