Good morning lovelies!
It’s starting to look like spring around here! The Cherry Blossoms and Almonds trees are starting to bloom, which is by far my favorite time of the year (aside from Christmas haha). Although, it looks like spring, it’s actually freezing around here! Taking photos in windy 40 degree was not fun. I don’t know how you girls do it with the snow! Read on for a list of my favorite spring color combinations!

The week just started and it’s already been crazy so I’ll give you guys a few life updates haha! I’m getting ready to start Keto, which I’m actually excited about, so I’ve been trying to ease into it by cutting out certain foods for the past week and a half. Bread was the first thing to go and my suspicions were right about the crazy things it was doing to my body. I am the pickiest eater EVER so finding food that I do like is a challenge, but I’m opening myself up more to trying new things 😉 My husband and I are currently planning our five year anniversary trip to Hawaii, so I need to get as swimsuit ready as I can in under three months haha! We are planning to visit Oahu and Maui so it you have any recs for places to stay and things to do, leave me a comment!
On a more serious note, I had a scary and sad thing happen to me yesterday. As you all know, I play and teach guitar. I play many hours a day and have for the past 16 years so I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised this happened. During my first lesson yesterday, my left hand went completely numb and I started getting sharp pains in my finger tips. This is a pain I’ve never ever felt in my life and although, I’m 99% sure I know what it is, I didn’t think I would get it at my age. This completely sucks because as an artist, musician and blogger, I do EVERYTHING with my hands (plus I just started back at my yoga class – ugh!). I’ll be taking it easy for the next few days so if I’m little less active, that’s why. I’m super bummed about this so if you guys send prayers or positive vibes my way, I’d appreciate it <3
Anyway, spring is my absolute favorite season to dress for (aside from fall) and it’s obvious as to why I love it so much: breezy floral dresses, pastel sweaters, flowy maxi skirts and light layers make up my wardrobe. And as you all know, I’m a sucker for color…pastels, especially (see above haha). Styling unexpected colors together is one of my favorite ways to bring a fresh new perspective on an outfit. I’ve gotten a ton of feedback on my spring color combos in recent posts so I thought I’d put together a list of my favorite pastels combos for you all 🙂

Aside from styling two or more colors together, I also REALLY love monochrome looks! Monochrome outfits have been in for a while now and I don’t see them going anywhere for spring. Pink monochrome is my go to, but I am also loving head-to-toe mint, light blue, yellow, lavender and peach outfits. The key to pulling off one color is by using different textures and styling them together to create a unique and interesting look. Different hues of the same color work really well together also.
What color combo(s) are you looking forward to trying for spring?
