Happy (almost) weekend!
I can’t believe that it’s officially fall! I feel like the summer went by so fast…but even then, I’m still super excited to break out my fall wardrobe (I just wish the weather would cooperate haha!). There are so many fun trends that I’m excited to try out and my favorite by far is tweed! I’ve already stocked up on a few good ones that I’ll be sharing over the next week but my heart is definitely swooning over this ultra feminine tweed dress <3

This is the very first tweed dress that I’ve ever owned and I’m simply smitten! Maybe it’s the gorgeous lilac color combo …or the sweet feminine details …or perhaps, the incredibly flattering fit …whatever it is, I’m all heart eyes for it! And tweed is a classic for good reason: it’s a chic and timeless fabric that exudes luxury and instantly elevates your look. I love that the modern tweed pieces of this season include interesting details and colorways for an updated take on a timeless classic and if there’s one thing you need for fall, it’s a gorgeous tweed dress …or blazer …or skirt. 😉
This dress in particular is from one of my favorite brands! They always have the most feminine vintage inspired designs that make me feel like royalty every time I wear them. I feel like this feminine tweed dress would look super cute styled with a pale leather jacket or even dressed down with a cozy cardi. In this case, I styled it with a matching shrunken cardi for that mod 60s Jackie Kennedy vibe. I styled it with a matching pump and a dainty jeweled headband, bow cuff and brooch for some added sparkle. But if you ask me, the real showstopper is actually this pink circle bag. I took it along with me to NYFW and I cannot even tell you how many compliments I got on it! Plus I wore it with three out of my four outfits (seen here, here and here) – it was that versatile. I finished off my look with matching nail polish (not purposely lol) and a light pink lip (in a bow case, of course)!
What do you think of the tweed trend?
