When a new season approaches, I always love doing small updates in my home. Whether it’s changing up our pillows, throw blankets, decor or bedding set, small changes keep things exciting and fresh! Cute Bedroom Update for Spring

Spring has always been my favorite season for so many reasons. And now that the rain has been replaced with sunshine and warmth, I’ve been slowly updating our home to reflect that renewal. In fact, last week, I brought out all of our outdoor furniture and I’ve been taking advantage of the beautiful weather every morning. I’ve also started my annual spring cleaning ritual – this time conquering my closet, vanity and home. One place I don’t update too often is the bedroom but I’ve been feeling an itch for something new!

My Vintage Bedroom Set

It may be old-fashioned for some but one of the crowned jewels of my home is our vintage bedroom set. With a dreamy French Provincial style, elegant carved rose details and gold metal drawer pulls, this set definitely fulfills all of my girly fantasies. It’s really so hard to find beautiful antique bedroom sets like this (within budget) and honestly, I love it so much.

This set was given to me many years ago when I had nothing but a mattress on the floor. Since then, it’s moved with me to each and every place I’ve lived in over the last two decades. I painted it white after I got married and since then I’ve been dressing it in various sheet colors and prints seasonally. It’s definitely very special and I don’t think I could ever part with it (plus I love how it’s a blank canvas for each season).

Pink Cozy Earth Sheets

For this season, I’ve changed out my classic white bedding for something a bit more whimsical – the Cozy Earth bedding set in Peony! From the moment I saw this color, I knew it was perfect. You all know I’m a pink girl but wow, this is a stunner if I ever saw one! And there’s a matching Cozy Earth duvet too!

I actually have another pair of classic white Cozy Earth bamboo sheets and I can’t say enough good things. My hubby loves them too! They are so soft, cozy and luxurious feeling. It’s like staying at a hotel but not haha! I’ve had them for yearsss and they’ve always washed really well. I also have a pair of Cozy Earth pajamas and while they’ve seen better days, they still remain one of my faves.

I particularly love how the pink color from this Cozy Earth sheet set really brings our bedroom to life! It’s the perfect hue for spring and honestly, I’m tempted to try other colors for upcoming seasons. To finish off the bedroom update, I added a faux fur Cozy Earth blanket. It’s sooo soft, unique and gives off such a luxurious touch. I do wish it was a bit larger for cuddling but it’s the perfect size for throwing on a bed, couch or arm chair. It would also look lovely draped over elegant deep-seated sofas for an extra cozy and feminine touch.

Girly Bedroom Ideas

Some other ways that I’ve been making my bedroom more feminine and cozy this spring are the little details! I got a darling pink bow lamp from TJ Maxx a few months ago and I just love how it looks on my vintage nightstand. I also have really nice lightly scented candles throughout the room along with a linen spray to give my sheets a nice scent before bed. The small vintage tray on my nightstand is perfect for holding my silk eye mask, glasses and phone.
