Fall is *finally* in the air! It’s no secret that fall is a favorite season among so many (and for good reason too)! The coziness and warmth is so inviting and nostalgic and the change of the new season brings about excitement and new beginnings. Candles

Candles are must for every season, especially fall! With so many decadent candle scents and the glowing warmth of the flame, candles are by far the easiest way to create a cozy home environment. I love lighting candles when I clean, read, relax and watch movies! Some of my favorite scents for the season are woodsy, sweet (like baked goods) and deep fruity/floral scents (like pomegranate, rose, etc).

Cozy Knit Blanket

It’s not officially fall until you’ve got a million cozy knit blankets lying around haha! Or maybe that’s just me 😉 In the fall, I love reading and watching seasonal movies so cuddling up with a cozy blanket just makes sense. Cozy knit blankets also double as a piece of “decor” adding a bit of interesting texture to your space (living room, bedroom, office, etc).

Faux Fur Accents

For the fall and winter seasons, I love adding faux fur accents into my cozy home decor. I like to think of it like cold weather accessories for my home (just like you would for fashion by adding a coat, scarf, etc). This can be in the form of fluffy pillows or blankets, faux fur rugs or furniture pieces (ottoman, stool, chair, etc) and even smaller things like cozy slippers.

Fall Florals

I love florals for every season because it’s an easy way to add a pop of color into your home decor. Fall florals are a simple way of creating a cozy home feel with different fall colors and textures. I, especially, love dried florals for the fall but fresh blooms always make a statement as well! Tea

There is just something about tea that hits different in the fall. I love tea year round but I typically only drink hot tea during the fall and winter. It’s such a cozy drink full of warmth, flavor and comfort. I, especially, love drinking tea early in the mornings to start off my day or when I’m relaxing in the evening with a good book or movie.

Warm Surroundings And Ambient Lighting 

As the days become shorter, lighting can transform your space. Swap out harsher lights for softer options, such as lanterns and string lights. The candles you’ve added can add a flickering glow, but LED alternatives will also give you a hassle-free feeling. Even small improvements, like updating your electrical system or getting an electrical inspection, checking with a roofing contractor about insulation and keeping your fixtures in top shape, will contribute to a warmer and more inviting atmosphere.
