It’s no secret that I love color and while I tend to lean toward more pastel shades, I love adding in some brights for summer! Bright, colorful summer dresses are the norm but adding in a bit of color through accessories is another easy way make a stylish statement. Here are a few of my favorite ways to style colorful summer outfit accessories:
Handbags
Surprisingly, most of my handbags are neutral but when summer comes around, I’m all about colorful handbags! They really pop against a neutral color palette (I especially love them with fun polka dot looks!) and bring a bit of joy wherever you go! I usually opt for bright pink because it reminds me of summer blooms š
Sunglasses
Fun sunglasses are the ultimate summer staple! I have them in so many different colors, but my favorites tend to be on the rosy side. And while I love fun and interesting shapes, I usually opt for a more classic or retro design when it comes to colorful sunglasses (cat eyes are my fave!).
Lip Colors
The easiest way to add a pop of color is through lipstick! My summer stash includes a variety of pink tones and I tend to gravitate toward more moisturizing lipsticks that have a little bit of sheen.
Statement Earrings
Statement jewelry in general is so much fun to wear during the summer, but I’ve especially been loving statement earrings in fun designs like fruit, candy and of course, these darling ice cream cones!
Bracelet
Like a few other accessories, a bracelet can help tie your entire outfit together. You’ll have no problem finding a versatile option that enhances multiple outfits. There’s no reason not to have a few of these on-hand.

You make me want to actually experiment with summer fashion! I hate the heat so much that summer usually just consists of me hiding indoors and if I have to go out, I wear the least fussy items I can find.
