I absolutely love Clarins beauty products! I have a nice collection of their lip products that I swear by, but before this I had never actually tried their skincare. I am obsessive about my skin (especially my face) so when I heard about the Clarins Double Serum, I knew I had to try it out for myself to see what buzz was all about.

What is the Clarins Double Serum? 

Clarins Double Serum is actually two serums in one! It’s part oil and part water and the two essential elements are mixed together once dispensed from one single pump. It’s powered with 21 skin-nourishing plant extracts that fight aging, pollution, signs of stress and provides hydration, elasticity and radiance to skin. This serum also includes tumeric, a superstar ingredient with anti-inflammatory and soothing properties. Plus it’s simple to use and the perfect multi-tasking product for all skin types, concerns and ages.

How To Use the Clarins Double Serum

Ideally, Clarins Double Serum would be used each morning and night after cleansing and before applying a moisturizer. For the sake of challenge, I chose to forgo my moisturizer and only used the Double Serum morning and night after cleansing to provide more accurate results.

There are two different dosage settings – a mini shot for combination to oily skin and a power shot for normal to dry skin. For this challenge, I chose to use the power shot. I applied it by dispensing the shot into my hand and lightly rubbing them together to warm the serum. Once warmed, I applied all over my face gently in a repetitive, circular motion starting from my cheekbones. That’s it!

What is the Clarins Double Serum Challenge? 

The 7-Day Clarins Double Serum Challenge is a skincare challenge in which you use the serum for 7 days straight – both morning and evening. It’s said to deliver visible results within one week of regular use.

Here are the results of 362 women that took the challenge:

• 88% saw smoother skin
• 83% saw more radiant skin
• 74% saw firmer skin

Even with amazing results like that, I still wanted to put it to the test myself 😉

The Clarins Double Serum Challenge

Day One

I started out by using this in the evening on the first day. When I woke up the next morning, my skin was SO smooth! It looked refreshed, radiant and glowy. I definitely wasn’t expecting to see such quick results but it was almost immediate.

Day Three

I’ve used this every morning and evening for the past few days and I am seriously in awe of the results so far! I can not believe how incredibly smooth my skin feels (like baby skin smooth)! My skin is also incredibly moisturized and glowy. It’s definitely making a difference in the way my makeup looks as well.

Day Seven

By the last day of the challenge, I could not believe my results! Not only was my skin smooth, radiant and refreshed looking but my darker spots were starting to fade. It made my pores look smaller and started to fade my previous acne scars. My skin felt firm and tight while also feeling moisturized. I should also note that prior to this, I had been experiencing some pretty bad hormonal breakouts along my jawline. They looked like red, large bumps under my skin. After using this for a week, the bumps almost completely smoothed out and the redness was gone! This is something I totally didn’t expect at all!
