Things that make me happy: Princesses. Flowers. Pastels. Lace. Jeweled collars. And when you put them all together, you get….this outfit. Which also makes me happy.
I have been playing around a lot lately with various blues and pinks. This one totally reminded me of what a modern Cinderella might wear. At first glance, I was unsure about this skirt. I wasn’t sure if I really had a lot of clothing that would go with it…but with some creative thinking, I pictured a million combinations in my head, so I went for it. A pretty pink jeweled top was just the thing to pair with this beautiful blue frock. It made my heart sing! My shoes and handbag were kept neutral, of course and very minimal jewelry (I’m talking one ring) was used. I’m quite the collector of statement jewelry pieces, but sometimes, simple is better.
Happy Friday once again and welcome. 🙂 One outfit really stood out to me this week and it was…
First off, this dress is such a beautiful mint color that is just perfect for spring and the shape is flattering. It is beautifully constructed with the most gorgeous lace. Can you believe she made it? Riva makes some of the most stunning DIY garments that I have ever seen. I am completely obsessed with all of them. I always feel very inspired when looking at her outfits and can’t wait to make some of these pieces over the summer. Definitely check out her site!
