I love reading books during all seasons of the year but there’s something quite magical about reading during the holidays! It’s one of my favorite winter activities and it’s most definitely the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit. These romantic Christmas books are sure to warm your heart and put a smile on your face (and of course, they’d make the perfect gift for all of your favorite ladies). Let’s get into the reviews!

My Take: I haven’t previously read any of the Virgin River books so this was a treat! I loved that it included two stories instead of one and although they were shorter, I felt that there were enough details to carry the stories. I also really loved the holiday setting, the characters and the inclusion of the recipes! Such a fun and unexpected element to add to the book!

My Take: This was a really sweet read and absolutely perfect for the holiday! I loved the story, loved the characters and loved the charming small town. It totally reminds me of Stars Hollow from Gilmore Girls (which I currently watching for the first time ever! Can you believe it?). There were also a lot of festive Christmasy touches that I adored!
All is Bright by RaeAnne Thayne

My Take: I’ve read several of RaeAnne Thayne’s books and they never disappoint! She has such a gift with storytelling. This book is part of the Hope’s Crossing series, which I actually haven’t read. However, I felt that the story was great on it’s own and I loved the festive and romantic feel. It makes me want to check out more from this series!
Snowed In for Christmas by Sarah Morgan
In a Nutshell: Snowed In for Christmas from USA Today best-selling author, Sarah Morgan, delights with a heartwarming Christmas tale that offers humorous, insightful and festive escapism.

My Take: This was SUCH a cute book! Absolutely loved it. The story was well-written, witty and heartfelt with relatable and interesting characters. I feel like this is a book that pretty much anyone would enjoy. It was a lovely holiday escape and it’s bound to become a Christmas classic. I know that it definitely has for me!
Overall, all of these books were charming and delightful to read! Christmas is my favorite time of the year and these holidays books make it so much more enjoyable (if that’s even possible haha). These would be great holiday gifts for the women in your life – your mom, sister, cousin, BFF, room mate, co-worker… anyone really 😉
