When you think of me, the word “casual” probably doesn’t come to mind 😉 After all, this is the girl that wore a sequin ballgown for her birthday at home haha! And while I definitely loveee dressing up, I also love a good casual feminine outfit and most times, this is the type of feminine outfit you’d probably catch me wearing on the weekend. You might be surprised (or maybe not) to hear this but working from home has actually brought out my more “casual” side and I’m kind of loving it! When I first started the blog, I had a plethora of jobs including working as a substitute teacher. I always looked forward to picking out my feminine outfits each day and I was always professional and polished (and usually wearing heels). Same for my other jobs outside the home. I was told on more than one occasion that my co-workers loved seeing what feminine outfits I would wear each day haha!
Years ago I shunned sneakers, especially with dresses but now, I embrace them 🙂 It’s funny how things change! It definitely helps when you find a cute sneaker though! For years I was on the hunt for the perfect white sneaker and I finally found them. In fact, they’ve been my go to for travel and outings where I know I’ll be walking a lot. They go with everything and are sooooo comfortable! And I loved them so much that I decided to try a nude pair!
I love how versatile this pair is and I think it looks especially adorable with this floral balloon sleeve dress! Although it doesn’t fall under my normal pink color spectrum, I fell in love with the floral print. It reminds of something from the seventies and I just love that carefree nostalgia. I also still think it’s still very feminine with the shape and I think it would look adorable with tall boots and a cozy cardi for fall!
For accessories, I added the prettiest lucky feather enamel necklace and the most beautiful charm bracelet with pearl details and charms that mimic the phases of the moon. I also added my dainty butterfly headband and my nude-rose Gucci bag. Overall, I really love this casual feminine outfit and I think it’s perfect for everyday!
