Birdies Shoes Review: Are they worth it?

Can glamour and comfort coexist in footwear? The simple answer is… yes! Usually if a shoe is comfortable, then the design is… not so pretty haha. And if it’s pretty, then it’s super uncomfortable. Thankfully, those days are long gone. You can now have the best of both worlds with Birdies! But are Birdies shoes worth it? Read on for my honest (and unsponsored) thoughts!

What are Birdies shoes?

Birdies is a shoe brand that specializes in comfortable, stylish and elevated footwear. Their website describes Birdies footwear as a shoe made for home entertainment and hosting. It combines the softness of a slipper, support of a sneaker and style of a luxury flat. They are no longer made for just home wear though! You can easily wear them out and about just as you would an shoe. They’ve since expanded to include flats, mules, sneakers, and sandals.

Are Birdies Shoes Comfortable?

They are unbelievably comfortable! Picture yourself walking on a cloud – that’s how it feels lol! They are incredibly padded with multiple layers and a quilted top. Not only do they feel nice but they look oh so chic!

Are Birdies Good Shoes?

Yes, I would say so! I have quite a few pairs in my collection now and I still love them as much as they day I got them (and this is years later). They look amazing styled with different outfits and they feel great when wearing them out and about. I always get compliments too! These shoes make a statement in the best way! My favorite styles are the Dove, Swan and Goldfinch (as seen in this post).

Birdies Sizing: Are Birdies shoes true to size?

When in comes to Birdies sizing, I would say they run true to size. I have several pairs of Birdies (and different styles) and my normal size 6 always fits perfectly!

Are Birdies shoes or slippers?

This is THE question haha! Birdies are both shoes and slippers. You can use them either way! I have a pair that I use mainly as a luxury indoor slipper but most of my Birdies shoes are worn for normal everyday use.

Birdies Shoes vs Rothys

I personally haven’t tried Rothys so I can’t vouch for them. Just by looking at the styles, I prefer Birdies. I am really drawn to more glamorous styles and I feel like they hit it out of the park with those!
