Every now and then I like to dress like a grandma. Maybe it’s because I go to bed early? I don’t know but there is just something about a good ol’ cardigan, a pearl necklace and vintage clutch that makes my heart go pitter-patter. My idea of a fun filled day is heading to the antique store to scour around for unique, vintage finds followed up by an ice cream sundae at Dewar’s. There is something so magical about looking around a antique shop. Almost like you’ve been transported back in time…a time that where I didn’t exist, but I find so fascinating. History was my least favorite subject in high school, but I’m finding the older I get, the more it interests me.

So my grandma (of all people) picked up this skirt for me. It’s from the Cinderella collection at Kohl’s. If there’s one thing I love more than vintage things, it’s gotta be princesses. 🙂 This skirt has so many pretty pinks and purples in it, so I knew right away that it would go with the majority of my closet. For this outfit, I paired it with a blush colored blouse embellished with pearls and smooth, velvety blush shoes. I adorned the neckline with one of my favorite floral neck pieces and coordinating arm jewelry. I topped my hair with a bow and donned a camel colored clutch and called it a day. 🙂
